Meet Your Firearms Instructor Jason Passarell & Family

Patriot Firearms Training in Salisbury, MD, was conceived by Jason and Sarah Passarell. Jason earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Salisbury University in Salisbury, Md. He lives and serves in the Salisbury community with his wife of thirteen years and five sons. Tyler, 21, is a Crew Chief stationed in Aviano, Italy, with the United States Air Force. His other sons, Noah, Jonah, Jason II, and Jacob, keep him busy with their after-school activities.

In 2021, Jason and Sarah felt called to help the local community live in their Second Amendment rights. Patriot Firearms Training was born in their garage, initially supporting only close friends and family. But now, it's a full shop for all your firearms training needs. Sarah and Jason prioritize personal relationships and hands-on learning within a small classroom setting. Jason holds an NRA Certified Handgun Instructor, NRA Range Safety Officer, MD HQL, MD Designated Firearms Collector, a Maryland State Police Qualified Handgun Instructor, MD Wear and Carry Instructor, and a Metropolitan Police Department Firearms Instructor.

In Jason’s free time, he enjoys traveling with the family and camper, riding bikes, playing volleyball, spending time at the firing and archery range, and spending quiet time with his wife and best friend, Sarah!

Meet the Better Half of Patriot Firearms Training Sarah Passarell

Meet Sarah, a dedicated wife, mother, and businesswoman who has called Eden, MD home for the past ten years. Alongside her husband, Jason, and their five sons, Tyler, Noah, Jonah, Jason II, and Jacob, Sarah has been an integral part of the James M. Bennett Varsity High School Volleyball Coaching Team, where she serves as the Head Varsity Coach.

With their oldest son, Tyler, currently stationed in Aviano, Italy, as a crew member in the United States Air Force, Sarah and Jason have been happily married for over 15 years and share a deep love for volleyball. Sarah is still an active player and participates in local Co-Ed leagues, alongside her busy schedule of planning family trips, exploring new destinations, attending fencing events for her boys, and supporting her husband during his IPA Shooting Competitions.

In 2013, Sarah and Jason founded Passarell Insurance Agency, starting from scratch and building it from the ground up to serve over 4,000 households in Salisbury, MD. Sarah remains an active part of the agency, handling all employee relations and ensuring that their clients receive the best possible service.

In 2017, Sarah was invited to join the team at SFdS Catholic School to help grow and successfully market their valuable programs to Prek3-8th-grade families. With her help, the school has grown from 175 to 255 students, and she is currently working on a project to build a Catholic High School. Sarah remains committed to maintaining strong relationships with parents and students.

In 2021, Sarah and Jason founded Patriot Firearms Training, a full shop for all your firearms training needs. From humble beginnings in their garage, they have grown their business to become a personal and hands-on learning experience for their clients. Sarah truly believes in putting herself in her customer's place, and her warm and inviting personality reflects this. She is a helpful assistant in all aspects of her life, from coaching her volleyball team to running her businesses and supporting her family.
